John Whitmer

Chair

John is a veteran conservative grassroots activist who has served in elected, political and professional leadership roles. He served four years in the KS House of Representatives and six years as the Chairman of the KS Commission on Peace Officer’s Standards and Training. He has worked on multiple campaigns including work as a 4th District Field Director for the Kobach for Governor and Moran for Senate campaigns as well as serving as a consultant for numerous KS Senate and House campaigns. John has served on a number of boards and committees, he currently serves as Co-Chair of the KS GOP Men’s Leadership Series, on the District 4 Citizen’s Advisory Board and has been a Republican Precinct Committeeman for over 10 years. John is the Special Events Coordinator for Kansans for Life, he and his wife also own a small business in Wichita. He is also the host of The John Whitmer Show airing Sunday nights on KNSS, but his favorite title is grandpa.

Genna Pettit

Secretary

Genna has been involved in politics for as long as she can remember and was most happy when her mother, Rep. Cyndi Howerton ran for State Representative. Her campaign is what motivated Genna to become more actively involved. She’s spent much of her time in grassroots for both the County Republican Party and Americans for Prosperity, working to elect strong conservatives into office. Professionally, she is a Real Estate Agent with Heritage 1st Realty and works with the Kansas Truth Caucus in Topeka during the legislative session.

Kim Gish

Vice Chair

Kim is a dedicated Christian conservative activist with extensive experience in Republican politics and pro-life advocacy. Formerly the Secretary of the Sedgwick County Republican Party, she has spent the past 15 years actively supporting pro-life, conservative Republican candidates through volunteer work, fundraising, door knocking, and phone banking. Kim also organizes voter registration efforts and lead the Sedgwick County Teenage Republicans for seven years. She served as District Director for the "Value Them Both" campaign and currently sits on both the Kansans for Life PAC Committee and the Board of Directors for City Elders. A Republican Precinct Committeewoman, Kim enjoys spending time water skiing with her husband and three daughters at the lake, fishing, and cheering on the NY Yankees and the K State Wildcats.

Bryan Frye

Treasurer

Bryan is a lifelong resident of Wichita with deep roots in the community. He served on the Wichita City Council for nine years and has been actively involved in various boards and committees. Currently, he serves on the Wichita Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the WSU Tech Industry Advisory Board. Bryan works as the Senior Director of Investor Relations at the Kansas Chamber and is a founding partner of a local technology company. A passionate advocate for all things Wichita, Bryan has been married for 33 years and has two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time at the lake, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and discovering the perfect craft beer—especially when it's brewed locally.
